The LOOP For Science & Technology Association was founded in 2018. Its purpose, excluding any profit-making, political or religious objectives, is to actively contribute to the introduction, consolidation and development of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) culture in general, and amongst children in particular.

 

 

The Association undertakes activities aimed at:

● Organising awareness-raising, information and advocacy initiatives in the field of STEAM to broaden and strengthen initiatives in these areas.

● Promoting the STEAM ethos amongst all stakeholders in the education system through awareness-raising activities such as practical workshops, conferences and training courses.

● Foster the emergence and development of STEAM.

 

● Facilitate the exchange of experiences, models, initiatives and materials to ensure greater consistency and the scaling up of initiatives.

● Conduct joint research with private or public institutions in the field of new technologies and education.

● Strengthen national and international cooperation in the field of STEAM.

● Strengthen and support the presence of women in the field of technological innovation.

 

Since 2018, the LOOP For Science & Technology association has been responsible for coordinating and organising FIRST LEGO League events in Morocco.​
