Children have a natural curiosity, creativity, and desire to explore. At FIRST® LEGO® League, we understand the power of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to inspire their innovative spirit and boost their self-esteem.
The project-based, hands-on FIRST® LEGO® League programs introduce students to engineering and programming in stimulating, inclusive, and creative learning environments, both in schools and local communities. Students work collaboratively to solve an annual robotics challenge based on a given theme.
FIRST® LEGO® League is about much more than robots®. Our programs from kindergarten through high school are designed to help all young people develop skills in creative problem-solving, leadership, and communication. Supported by a network of mentors, educators, volunteers, sponsors, parents, and alumni in more than 100 countries, the FIRST experience gives participants lasting inspiration and the confidence to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
